We have new Converse colors, and want every single pair of course

This fall is going to bring some new favorites to the Converse color wheel. The new and improved Chuck Taylor All Star II (remember when news of a Chucks makeover surfaced in July and we collectively freaked out?) has been rolled out, along with two new colors: “gray thunder” and “bordeaux.” They both look amazing and perfect for all of our autumn outfits, and we need them ASAP.

XXL report that the updated sneaker design interior “combines durable new details including a Nike Lunarlon sockliner, nonslip padded tongue, super soft micro-suede lining and a premium canvas.” Micro-suede lining sounds mighty comfy to wiggle your toes against, we like that luxury add-on the best.

As for the outside upgrade, your eyelets are monochrome and tonal pinstripes were added to match the new colors, they’ve added high foxing and the signature patch is embroidered in. It’s all about making your Converse look as premium as possible. We are stoked to see them go toe-to-toe with some of the big boys of the sneaker world but keep the charm of Converse that make them pair so nicely with a short sock and your favorite outfit.

They come in low and high top, for whatever kind of sneaker you prefer and hit stores on October 1. That’s really soon, we need to get in line now! Suggested retail is $70 for lows, $75 for high —so start saving up!
